Weighing in at just 30 pounds the bike is built around a lightweight 6061 aluminum frame that makes it easy to carry around and comfortable to handle. I understand that this is not a reasonable budget for a good bike but i am going to uc davis which is a college town and after having injuries from weightlifting i would rather do something that is not high impact such as biking. If it s used it s probably garbage and or old and will need to have a bunch of its components upgraded and end up costing just as much as a newer bike. Sure it s possible to find a decent bike on craigslist for under 500 if you have a lot of time and know what to look for but if you re asking this question on reddit you probably don t know what to look for.
